Staying InterContinental Cancun Resort using IHG Rewards Club Points
We traveled to Cancun, MX for the one of the long weekend.
Out of all the hotels in the area, we picked Presidente Intercontinental Cancun Resort.
I was able to book 3 nights here with points and free night certificates mix & match.
Looking back on this trip, it was great choice for us to have good time for that little vacation.
Great value for the point redemption, and Free night Certificate that is given from the benefit of this IHG Rewards Club Select Credit Card.

5/24 밑으로 가면 해야할 비지니스 카드 한장 늘었어요.
기존에 셀릭트나 트래블러 카드 소지장 중에 신청하시는 분들 결과 좀 남겨주시면 다른 분들에게 도움이 될거 같아요. 이제 두개 보유 안된다고 하는데 정말 공식적인 것인지^^ㅂ
IHG Premier 카드 신청서에 이런 문구가 있다고, 어떤 회원분께서 알려주셨어요. 안되는것 같아요
이제는 개인 한장, 비즈 한장으로 가야 하는것 같습니다.
이거 비즈니스 카드 만들수있으면 신청할 가치가 있는건가요? 힐튼, 매리엇, 하얏을 가지고 있는상태에서 다른 브랜드 호텔을 또 하나 할만한건지…
아내가 4/24 라서 매리엇 카드를 만들까 하는데 그전에 이카드를 만드는게 좋은건지 모르겠네요
스펜딩할일이 있어서 비즈니스 카드로 IHG, AA, KOREAN, DELTA 중 하나 한다면 어느것을 추천하시나요?
매번 발행되는 카드의 좋은점만 계속 얘기한다면, 이 카드도 꼭 해야하는 카드이긴 합니다만, 나열해주신 카드중에 가장 필요한것이 어느것인가에 따라서 결정하시면 되실것 같아요. 이카드 연회비 내면서 받는 숙박권으로 몇배가치의 숙박을 하는건 사실이예요. 저는 한국에 갈때마다 이 숙박권으로 인터컨티넨탈에서 자는데요. 거기가 현금가격이 보통 25만원이 넘거든요.
다른 호텔 체인 카드가 이미 여러개 있으시고, 그래도 항공마일이 중요하다고 볼때에… 나열해주신 카드종류중에 저는 Citi AA Biz를 할것 같습니다.
Moxie님 추천대로 하나 만들어서 포인트와 매년 숙박권으로 인터컨디넨탈 숙박해보겠습니다. 약 20여년전에 그 호텔서 몇일 묵었던 기억이 있는데 지하의 코엑스점과 도심공항 이용에 아주 좋았습니다.
현재 스펜딩이 끝나면 IHG, 매리엇, AA 비즈니스카드 위주로 차례로 열어 나가보겠습니다.
그런데 아직 초보라는 핑계로 늘 질문만 올려서 죄송합니다. 제가 드릴수있는 정보나 조언이 없어서 ID 가 낮은자인데 꼭 높은자처럼 받아만 갑니다.
그동안 다른카드 스펜딩을 마쳐서 4/24인 아내것으로 오늘 신청했는데 리뷰 하겠다고 나오네요 승인되면 Amex 골드(9만) 도 신청하려고 했는데…
별 문제 없으면 승인 되실거예요. 요즘에 추세를 보니까, 이 카드는 바로 승인을 주지 않고, 본인 확인을 하거나, 며칠 묵혔다가 승인을 주는것 같습니다.
아들은 체이스 은행 어카운트 만든지 2년정도 되었고 아멕스 카드도 하나있거든요,
제 아들이 대학생인데 이 비즈니스로 신청했는데요. 바로 어프루브가 안났어요.
이메일도 입력한거 같은데 이메일도 아무것도 안받은거 같아요.
그런데 5일지나서 지금 전화 해보니깐 소셜을 넣어보니 어플라이가 안되었다고 하는데…이런 경우가 있나요?분명히 결정한다고 화면 본거 같거든요, 그런데 미스가 있을수 있는지..
그냥 다시 어플라이 해야할지 무조건 기다리는게 좋을지요?

댓글만으로는 정확한 내용을 알기가 쉽지 않습니다만… 체이스에서 신청조회가 되지 않는다면, 마지막에 어떤 에러가 난것이 아닐까 짐작만 할 수 있습니다.
요즘에 개인카드 오퍼가 최고인데, 왜 비지니스 카드를 하셨나요?
아들이 처음 전화해볼떄는 디클라인 되었다고 하던데..오늘 컨시더레이션 하라고 다시 전화하니 리뷰중이라고 하네요? 좀 이상하지만 기다려 보기로 했습니다.
그리고 카드는 비즈니스가 카운트가 안되서 먼저 한건데요. 잘못 생각했나 보군요.
다시 아들이 개인용으로 신청하는게 좋을지요? 아니면 아들은 이번에 건너뛰고 저나 와이프로 신청하는게 좋을지요.

웬만한 처음에 하시는 카드들은 개인카드를 하시는게 좋습니다.
아드님의 시청 결과는 조금 기다려보기로 하고요. 아내분의 개인 이름으로 IHG 개인카드 하시면 좋을것 같고요.
비지니스 카드 가능하시고 히스토리가 조금 되시면, 요즘에 잉크 캐쉬카드나 언리미티드 카드 하시는것도 좋을듯 합니다.
