메리엇이 체이스와의 관계를 유지하면서, 아멕스와 손을 같이 잡는것으로 보입니다.
오늘 Co-Brand Agreement에 싸인을 했다는데요.

Marriott International today announced it reached new agreements with JPMorgan Chase and American Express for its U.S.-issued, co-brand credit cards associated with its loyalty programs. These multi-year agreements will extend Marriott’s relationship with both card issuers and cover the Marriott Rewards and Ritz-Carlton Rewards Visa credit cards from JPMorgan Chase, and the Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) credit cards from American Express.
“Marriott’s co-brand credit cards have been a meaningful contributor to the success of Marriott’s loyalty programs and a sign of the extraordinary value of our portfolio of brands,” said Arne Sorenson, Marriott International’s President and Chief Executive Officer. “We are pleased to bring together the power of JPMorgan Chase and American Express with our global portfolio of brands to continue to provide consumers with choices. We expect our loyalty program members, owners and franchisees, and our shareholders will see significant incremental benefits from these new agreements.”
Marriott expects to introduce new, co-brand products starting in 2018 with enhanced member benefits – super-premium consumer and small business co-branded products from American Express and mass consumer and premium consumer co-branded products from JPMorgan Chase.Additional details on the future products will be shared in 2018. In the meantime, both companies will retain their existing portfolio of accounts and continue to offer their current products.
“We are excited to build on our long-term partnership with Marriott and look forward to continuing to serve our mutual customers with the products and experiences they love,” said Jennifer Piepszak, CEO of Chase Card Services. “Together, we also plan to invest in new mass and premium consumer products that will bring choice and variety to the marketplace, along with the depth and breadth of Marriott International’s portfolio of brands.”

이번 달 말에 크로징 하고, 그 동안 조용히 즐기던 동굴생활 마치고 새롭게 시작하려고 했는데 좋은 소식이네요..^^
이제 어떤 사인업 보너스를 가지고 나올것인가가 제일 중요한데요.
프리미엄 카드라고 그랬으니까, 적어도 연회비는 $400 정도는 할 듯 하고요.
사인업은 한 10만포인트 정도 줄만 할텐데요? SPG에서 항공 전환이 없어지지 않으면, 상당히 좋은 옵션이 될것 같아요.
아직은 정보가 부족하긴 하지만, 아멕스에서 나오는 프리미엄 카드라니 기대가 큽니다.

사파이어리저브는 다음으로 또 조금 미루더라도 좋은 오퍼가 있었으면 좋겠어용~
아직 언제 나올지 몰라서 좀 기다려봐야 할것 같고요.
리저브 카드는 5/24와 상관이 있는 카드라서 하실수 있으실때 하시는게 좋아요.
아멕스에서 메리엇이 나온다니 기대되네요..
그럼 기존에 있던 아멕스 카드는 미리 좀 정리를 해야겠네요.
그렇찮아도 리츠칼튼 내년에 연회비 청구되면 닫으려고 했는데..

일부에서는 릿츠칼튼 카드처럼 숙박권으로 사인업 보너스를 줄 수도 있다는 얘기도 나오고 있기는 해요.
SPG로 넘겨서 항공으로 전환할것이 아니면, 그것도 꼭 나쁜 옵션은 아닌것으로 보이기도 합니다. 🙂
포인트로 준다면 10만은 넘어야하지 않나.. 하는게 제 생각이고요. ^^

저도 없는 카드중 하나.... 체이스 카드 모두요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 손가락이 근질근질한데 진짜 엄청 잘 참아가는중 입니다...
와~~이 카드 기대되네요. 요즘 메리엇 날고자고 때문에 어디를 어떻게 가야 좋을지 고민이 많은데 10만 넘게주는 오퍼라면 좀 럭셔리하게 다녀올수 있을것 같네요 ㅎㅎㅎ

아~ 저희집에서 제일 안쓰는 카드가 체이스 메리엇카드라 없앨려고 매번 그러다 아직 안없애고 있는데요,
만약 새로운 카드가 나오게 되면 기존의 카드는 어떻게 되는건가요?
그 카드를 없애고 새로운 카드로 갈아타는게 아니라 완전히 새로운 product라는거지요? 그렇게되면 새 카드를 만든후 기존 메리엇 카드를 없애도 상관없겠지요?

새로나오는 카드는 전혀 다른 프로덕트로 나온다하니까, 기존에 가지고 계신 카드와는 상관이 없을것 같습니다. ^^
